TKI has been home for us for almost 2 years and we wouldn't dream of sending our kids anywhere else. Sensei Brown and his team came highly recommended, they are serious about respect and discipline, and create a warm and inviting family atmosphere at the same time. My kids know that Sensei is an authority figure that also cares about them very much. If you are looking for an idea for a child's birthday party, Twinsburg Karate Institute is the place! Our four year old son loved it and so did all of his friends! All we had to do was invite kids to the party and bring cupcakes. Sensei Brown took care of everything else! The kids played games, ate pizza, and to finish off the party, they broke boards! It's the best party we've ever had for one of our children.

The entire staff is friendly, professional and excellent with children and adults. TKI is a low pressure environment, but still encourages every student to work hard, and push him/herself to reach one's full potential. Sensei Brown also does a very good job creating a family environment with non-martial arts activities. TKI is also involved with the community, making it a true steward.

Sensei Brown is a great mentor, teacher, and one the kids always look up to at TKI! Great place to let the kids have fun while learning not only Karate but great discipline! Highly recommend.

Excellent instruction and great facilities. Sensei Brown and team do an excellent job in teaching children self defense. They do a great job in reiterating self control, self esteem, and physical fitness. Highly recommend.

Fantastic self defense classes! I've always wanted to learn self defense and their classes do not disappoint! I went to a long-form group class on a Saturday with Sensei Brown and the other instructors who were amazing and also came to a follow up shorter practice class on a Tuesday night and plan to keep coming back. We are so happy at TKI. Sensei Brown is so great with our boys. You can tell how much he loves working with children. Karate is helping teach them manners and discipline. The studio is well maintained and clean with a fun atmosphere. Sensei Brown also offers fun events for the kids like Nerf War Movie Nights, and family canoe trips.

My son, Noah, started taking classes at the Twinsburg Karate Institute when he was 4.5. In the past eight months, I have watched my little boy grow into a child with a sense of discipline and self control. We first joined TKI when our son was 4, in 2010. In 2014 our daughter joined as well. There is no question that Sensei Brown has helped shape who our kids are today. The instructors are hands down the best around. TKI does not churn out students and when you join you are not "buying" your belts, you are earning them. TKI is family to us and we would never consider any other karate studio.

Our 6 year old son, Jack, has found the past six months of karate to be personally rewarding, fun, and he genuinely loves coming each week! We are thankful to have found a great fit for him to build his confidence and discipline through the Twinsburg Karate Institute.
